Eastern Airways announced today that they would base an aircraft at Wick from February. This will allow them to introduce a third service between Wick and Aberdeen (early morning). One of the three services will be via Inverness which creates new services between Wick and Inverness and between Inverness and Aberdeen. Check out www.easternairways.com for times.

Thats good news for us lot then on then! wish they would base our saab 2000 in the IOM. they could do an IOM-SOU and give BA a run for there money on the IOM LGW.

Rumour has it BA citiex are dropping there routes from fraggle rock, so we could see more expansion for eastern on the IOM

Not heard any rumours but I can tell you the 146-200 that you're registered as is leaving the fleet when the summer 2005 schedules start (lease runs out in June) and will be replaced by another -200 either GGNTZ or GMANS

So you might need to think of a name change.....;-)

LOL - nah, will keep the name G-MIMA, as I have alot of affection for the old girl. she has done manx airlines proud over the years and now ba.

must admitt she is looking a bit tired inside now, but looks good with the 3 legs and green seats.

by the way, what aircraft is going to be based in wick for eastern?
