Help please,

Can anyone point me to an on-line document giving a diagram or text of how a correctly installed jo-bolt should look? I have worked with them in the past on aircraft, and am aware that the mandrel should break just short of flush with the head if the grip range is correct.

However, I am now working in a different industry and need to demonstrate this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. woderick's first post was the nearest to what I need. But what I could really do with is some text to back up how you can tell if the grip range is wrong by looking at the mandrel, i.e. if it breaks off short of the head, then the grip range is too short.

Cheers :ok:
