Just a question. Why would the route involve 1 Stop in Dubai when it's a lot further south than Kuwait.Or do they need to refuel in Dubai as opposed to Kuwait for some reason?

Possibly a triangle PRG-DXB-KWI-PRG?

I recall that they used to fly this route in the mid 90's when I was working in Kuwait. Very keenly priced fares, at least then.

Just a question. Why would the route involve 1 Stop in Dubai when it's a lot further south than Kuwait.

I asked the same of Lufthansa, which operates Frankfurt --> Dubai --> Dammam --> Dubai --> Frankfurt. Why don't they fly Frankfurt --> Dammam --> Dubai --> Dammam --> Frankfurt instead, thereby saving anywhere from 1½ to 2 hours flight time on the round trip? The explanation-- most of the load (and market) is to Dubai. Traveller's often look for "non-stop" first when they plan their travel, and so that is one of the competing factors between airlines (fares, non-stop, etc).
