I see your in Oxford so have you tried Oxford aviation http://www.oxfordaviation.net/ i believe they have a 733 sim there or failing that there's GECAT (Heathrow/Gatwick)http://www.gecat.com/ or flight safety Boeing -Alteon (Luton/Manchester)http://www.alteontraining.com/

Hope this helps

Have you thought of some sim time on something a little cheaper?

Mike Boulton will do sim time on a 727 at Bournemouth (European). Great for getting scan up to speed! And it's onlt £175 an hour, without motion.
His number is 07799 887274.

Cheers for that, certainly is cheaper (I was quoted £780 for two hours on 737), but would this really give me the confidence to step into a 737 sim an have the flight of my life? I'm thinking that I'd be looking more towards the 737 just so it's lest daunting on the day. How similar are the 727 and 737??

I'm guessing this is for a check ride / interview?

Yes, the best plan would be to do a few hours on the same sim you'll be tested on, ie 737-300, but, like you said, it's pricey. You can get the same hours cheaper or more hours for your money on something like a 727. It's not the same, but if you can do instruments on a 727 (dials and steam) then that should be a pretty good leg up for flying raw data, no autothrust/pilot, no FD on anything else?
Plus they are in the same Boeing family, so there's lots of similar things, like thrust levers, trimming etc.
Just a thought, matey!
Good luck with your endeavours.

The 300/400/500 in Dublin was sold to CTC in BOH. The -200 is still around, €230 an hour + ball park €70 for instructor an hour.

Call Parc to book it, Avtech was wound up.
