Anyone care to comment........

I found this in the "Aviationjobsearch.com" November edition newsletter.

Making Love Not War: sex aid mistaken for a bomb
Staff at Queensland's Mackay Airport in Australia evacuated the airport after a suspect humming and rattling drew attention to a bin. Police alerted bomb experts but called off the emergency when a passenger came forward and identified the suspected bomb device as their "adult novelty device".

Story in jobs forum not as it was reported in Australia. Our version was that it took three hours and it wasn't until a search of the package that they sorted it out. No one owned up to it! :E

I remember when doing security screening about a decade ago that you'd get the occasional novelty device in bags going through the X-ray. You'd see the punter turn bright red as you'd stop the x-ray and peer at the screen and then sit back with a look of realisation on your face and give the punter a wink! One of the F/As got her own back at me when she gave me a big wink and blew me a kiss straight back. :}
