Maybe the Spaniards know what a union shop action is all about? Reckon their GOM compadres will catch on and do the same for the Air Log fleet one day?;)
The strike summoned by the main Spanish aerial unions began next 29 of October. This, due to the long days of work to which they are subject the crews(According to local & EU legislation the 2000 hours will not be exceed physical presence in a base, and most of the crews rise this time at the beginning of October). These crews in its great majority HEMS, SAR & FF, they demand that one equips to the bases and heliports worthy conditions of habitability, that the annual calendars of programming are published and that amuse the days of rest that is respected, also they demand to respect the Law of Prevention in Labour Risks equipping to the crews of the material of necessary work.
Also the Public Administrations assume their responsibility and force to the companies that monopolize the helicopter public services to obey the Law, with the only objective of which the professionals can make their work in worthy & security labour conditions. Also, the three union’s guarantee that strike will go accompanied of the essential services necessary to avoid that the users can see themselves harmed by an irregular situation and that he affects to them.
