Not sure if this is new. Just heard voer the grape vines that V.N is getting prospective investers to take up equity and inject fund to expand ops. Any ideas on aircraft types, qualificatons for DEC/FO, type or non type rate, package and working condition. All infos are welcomed.

I was always told that Vietnam Airlines is 100% State Owned..... With deep pockets.....

I can't see how the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (S.R.V.) would allow any type of invesrment.......

But who knows...???????? I supose anything is possible.....

OK VN is a state Cie and i think it will stay like that for a while
I can tell you that you c ant not even buy a house or a motobike in Vietnam so I d ont see the time when peoples will be able to invest in Vietnam Airlines
Type of AC are 10 ATR 72, 2 Fokker 70, 4 B767, 5 B777, 10 A320 and around 5 A321
ALL the EXpats are on contract with EPAL, Risworth, or Parc
YOU have to be qualified on Type and current
Salary are about $6000 US for FO on A320 or B767
Salary are $ 9200 per month for A320 Captain and B767 Captain
And 12000 for B777
those figures include Salary, accomodation and per Diem
