35 TO 40 AMERICA WEST AIRCRAFTS
WILL UNDERGO HEAVY MAINTENANCE AT AEROMAN´S FACILITIES

· 35 to 40 America West aircrafts, mainly A-320´s, will receive their heavy maintenance at AEROMAN's facilities from September 2004 through December 2005.

· AEROMAN will also perform all "2C" Checks for the JetBlue fleet during the first semester of 2005, additionally to those programmed for maintenance on November and December of this year.

This Wednesday September 8th the America West A-320 N625AW aircraft arrived at AEROMAN facilities, TACA Airlines' maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) center, at the El Salvador´s International Airport in Comalapa. This marks the beginning of a closer working relationship between these two companies, due to the fact that 35 to 40 more A-320s of America West's fleet will undergo heavy maintenance from September 2004 through December 2005 at AEROMAN.

America West is the second largest, low-fare carrier and the eighth largest operation in the United States. It serves 96 destinations and has an average of 878 system-wide daily departures. This airline chose AEROMAN´s services as one of its heavy-maintenance outsourcing vendor.

The aircrafts, mainly Airbus A-320, will be undergoing "C" Checks, which is the most thorough type of maintenance work. At these, the entire aircraft goes through an exhaustive series of structural and electronics systems checks, inspections and overhaul work. "C" Checks are performed every 15 months on America West's fleet.

"We have a further challenge and a great commitment to our clients, to continue providing total customer satisfaction. We have been working together towards excellence combining six key components, quality, on time delivery, cost efficiency, customer service, security and safety, and values," said Ernesto Ruiz, General Manager at AEROMAN.

JetBlue, the most succesful low-cost carrier in the United States, which also defines itself as a service company and not just an airline, has also selected AEROMAN as its heavy maintenance service supplier. Based in John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, JetBlue´s A-320 aircrafts will fly to El Salvador during the first semester of 2005 to undergo "2C" Checks. This procedure is a specialized heavy maintenance with JetBlue´s specifications.

"JetBlue will sent from 23 to 26 aircrafts in 2005," explained Andrés García, Commercial Director for AEROMAN. He added "the most recent update on JetBlue´s schedule indicates that during the first two quarters of 2005 we will be working on one JetBlue, one America West, and one TACA aircraft simultaneously."

These aircrafts are part of a new contract with JetBlue. Starting November 4 AEROMAN will be working on four additional aircrafts, which were part of a previous agreement.

Trial and No Error
May 2004 was a kind of probation period for AEROMAN, by which two very successful United States airlines submitted aircrafts for maintenance work. At this time AEROMAN broke the "Latin American Stigma", a well known term in the company's jargon, referring to the doubts on behalf of some North American companies in regard of quality standards provided Latin American companies in the use of specialized high-tech products.

The trial period ended with exceeded expectations and the On-Site Representatives praise. They left for their headquarters with a firm belief of the quality standards observed by AEROMAN. "I have been in a lot of facilities around the globe and I want you to know AEROMAN is at the "TOP" of my list," wrote Tommy Stallings, Site Manager, America West Airlines Heavy Maintenance Department in a letter addressed to AEROMAN. He added "the genuine effort put forth by the individuals within AEROMAN, the quality, dedication and honesty really stand out above all the rest for all to see. AEROMAN is the Diamond of Commercial Aircraft Maintenance of Latin America".

The Director for Heavy Maintenance for JetBlue, Hitesh Patel, commented during his visit to AEROMAN, "we are impressed by the work ethics; high quality in the engineering reports, the before deadline delivery, and the excellent logistics in the supply chain." He also noted "we value your professionalism."

FINOVA, an aircraft leasing company based in the U.S., has also had the opportunity to experience AEROMAN´s work. Ron Michalski, Finova On-Site Rep wrote "your facility is one of the best I have ever had the opportunity to be affiliated with... this facility is one of the cleanest ones in the whole industry. The quality of workmanship is of very high standard and the paperwork is the best I have ever seen."
