Evening all. Scran is still away, but there is no truth to the rumor that he was attacked by a rabid duck-billed platypus.

Oops! The boss is back. Disregard that crack about the rabid platypus guys. :O ;)

Yeah scran, love those r&r-oldies specials. We don't get top 40 English radio here, but every Saturday one of the local French stations run a four-hour feature called Studio Retro, music from the 50's 60's and 70's. Great nostalgia trip, and guess where I get some quiz questions? :D

Hi Piggy,

Being back at home base usually means I don't get as good a shot at it as I had for a while, and by the time I saw it last week I would have had to google to get anything, and we couldn't have that, could we?

Trivia 30. Ok, was it Zal Yanovsky? I've gotta be close haven't I?

Brewer and Shipley were the guys for One toke over the line. So who was I thinking of from the same year, somebody and McNeil, or McNeil and somebody, who had a similar sort of minor hit? Grrrr. Well, I can at least stop worrying about One toke over the line now. Cooda, I suspect Ashton Gardner and Dyke's one hit will soon appear in another quiz. Southy, it's as Binos says. You did a great job, but there were others in ahead of you with correct answers to some of the questions.

(Napoleon XVI's song was supposed to be about a lost dog. The drummer couldn't keep up, so five seconds of drumming was looped to form the background. A group called Josephine XV did an answer song called "I'm Happy They Took You Away Ha-haa.)

Ok....picking up on what Bino's said (about us Quizmeisters never letting a chance go by...:E)

The Quiz on monday will be posted at a random time, not when I first get to work as normal. ie....later in the day, work permitting.

SO, this should immediately eliminate Pigboat (who will give up waiting and go to bed), Cooda (who only has a limited time of a morning), Kenny Carter (who sits poised...waiting to pounce I'm sure) and some other players (maybe Bino's..depending on his shift).

Those who occassionally miss out because they don't get up early........your salvation is at hand........:ok: :uhoh: :E :{ ;)
