Is there a time zone change between Aberdeen and the oil plaforms in the North Sea?

Yes, twenty years. ;)
Well, if I didn't say it, someone would've.
As the North Sea rigs are mostly situated along the edges of the territorial boundaries; and as they are operated to from countries which have a one hour time difference (UK and (Norway, Denmark, Holland - which are one hour ahead)), there could be a local time difference.
However, as flight plans and radio calls are with reference to UTC, it causes no problems.
