How do Manchester Airport get away with mixing arriving passengers from the Common Travel Area (Eire, Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and the UK with international arrivals?
I give you an example: I arrived this week from Spain in to T1. There was also a flight from Londonderry, Dublin, Guernsey and Orlando arriving at the same time. We all poured in to the immigration hall and it was a nightmare! There were passengers everywhere, none of them knowing where to go and some going through the channel reserved for the 'Irish' flights, and so by-passing immigration altogether. No-one seemed to really care. I would have thought this was a major security breach and contravened DfT regulations. Does it?
