Local Berlin court has ruled in favour of Air Berlin action against SXF and banned SXF from offering any discount or marketing support to Easyjet and Ryanair

...and has also ruled that SXF's fee notes to AB since August 1st, 2003, are "non-binding" (whatever that means).

BTW it's regional court (landgericht) Potsdam - SXF is outside Berin city limits.

I'd be surprised if this holds water.....I believe the eJ deal with SXF was pretty transparent (once announced) and open to other airlines who would provide the same investment.

It came at the time of the Ryanair Charleroi ruling and I believe eJ were fairly open to the EU legislators regarding the deal, to ensure that there were no problems.......it's pretty clear that at that time (following the RYR ruling) any operator and airport entering into a deal such as this would have ensured it was legit. !!
