AFM: Indian Air Force - M2000 - Vajra - Sep 23rd

Departed its base at Gwalior at 1245hrs for a practice intercept mission, but a wheel fell off the undercarriage shortly after take-off. Some eyewitness reports suggest that both main undercarriage legs fell off, but this is unconfirmed.....

Sounds like my old airfix 'stuff' when I was toddler...."Dad, my wheel just fell off, you didn't stick it on properly"

:p

The pilot ejected without harm to him or anyone else in a forest after burning off fuel to reduce fire risk.
