View Full Version : Where are the best clouds in November?

I am planning a photographic shoot of clouds to take place somewhere in the US during mid to late November. It's for an advertising campaign and we will be shooting them air to air.

So I am looking for some recommendations from fellow PPRuNers as to where I will find the most predictable build up of cumulus, cumulonimbus and vertically building clouds during that time period.

Thanks in advance for your help with this rather strange request.

Try asking the pprune member sharpshot

I have no idea who they are, but they seem to be a photographer. (search on their user name for some of their PPRuNe posts.)

Another thought is to go to http://www.photo.net/

and ask there in one of their forums. A number of professional photographers use the site.

Ask NOAA too.

Best of luck.

McHover,

With your time frame being in November I would suggest Southern Florida.

Southern Florida is by far your best bet that time of year.
