I wsa passing through Manchester the other week, when I could not help notice that the marshaller was wearing shorts. Fair enough - but the OAT was c. 12degrees. The rugged Timberlands & shorts look seems to be favoured by marshallers anywhere it's hot - but Manchester?

Or do Mancunian marshallers have a bad case of Betty Swollox syndrome?

We should be told!

VP8, like your location.

What do you do when you are going down with a double engine failure? "Call Midland passing 245".

And all the "Midland Radars overhead starts here" stickers you used to find scattered to the 4 corners of the earth.....

Memories. ;)

12C is positively tropical oop north, so what's the problem?

However, in Manc land it is also entirely possible that he has had the lower parts of his trousers stolen as he got too close to some hub caps.:}
