Further to mondays report. The rumours from Bournemouth are that FR are to operate twice daily Boh - Man - Dub. Anyone know if this is so? Plus Fr are considering several other routes as well.

I haven't heard anything about these lines but it is unlikely. BOH may in the future be picked as a base but seeing as flights from both BOH and MAN have excellent load factors, there is no reason for a stop.

Surw would make it easier for us to get to the college too <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

. .Ahhhh forgot - thanks to the Airline Group we have no cash for such luxuries anymore. Railway trolley or horsedrawn sleighs only.

Well Manchester own Bournemouth so anything could be possible. Probably see Ryanair at East Mids now that Manch own this airport as well?

I think we will see Ryanair at EMA but for a different reason:. .FR will not allow any low fares airline to enter the UK - Dublin market and BMIbaby's announcement of starting DUB - EMA services should result in them receiving the same treatment as Go.. .So we will soon see FR B737-200's gracing the apron of EMA I suspect.

Anyone from FR know how the booking levels are on the Bournemouth - FFT route? Same route from Southampton only generates 1400 PAX per month. FR are using B738 on route giving capacity of around 11000+. FR may need to discount to fill the seats.

The very fact that FR are a LOW COST AIRLINE encourages people to fly with them. Not only those previously flying British Airways SOU - FRA but also people who may not have considered flying to the south rather than London before. This route will be a total success! And by the way Frankfurt airport codes are:. .FRA - Frankfurt Main. .HHN - Frankfurt (Hahn) (which FR uses)

Hahn = Frankfurt? Don't make me laugh... wouldn't even carry it as an alternate for Frankfurt Main; far better with Cologne, almost the same distance and at least there's some surface transport infrastructure to get your punters where they really want to go.

Your company-loyal defence is laudable, Flying Irishman, obviously O'Leary pays a bonus for turd-polishing.
