Why was "Leadership" removed from the SQ's A340-500s?

Because A340s can only follow, at ever increasing distances behind Boeings.
Tee Hee. Good one that but they have also dropped Megatop from the B744 and Jubilee from the B777 so maybe its just a change of tack to have no names for the different fleets.

Its quite simple really. In this day and age where everything costs, even logos or obscure names on airplanes, and where profit is all important the practice was stopped. Not enough return for the outlay:
Dumd name for a plane.
Name to highlight what is missing is the Co thus far.

Leaderships can't lead but only follow, Megaflop has had it's day (sniff), and Jubilee does have a time limit in it's application.
