The good old "reliable source" going by these "reliable" source's i should have been unemployed at least 4 times by now. But im not worried, Aunty Helen will prop the place up like nextdoor, may'be buy origin some new aircraft too?
The thing people forget about Origin is that it is'nt just a passenger airline. It runs a :mad:load of freight and a similar amount of charters.

A4 - All course's are on hold but keep updating because WHEN it happens it will happen fast.

I like it when you read about an airline's marketing mgr and he's pictured with 2 naked beauties on a motorbike (see todays Press p.B7). Does this guy know how to party or what??:D :D :D

Latest 'Rumours' have it that Origin can no longer afford to pay for type-ratings.

They are having to employ people from Air National who are already rated on the J32's.

There may be no truth to this but... rumours usually have to start somewhere.

Origin will take what they can get in todays employment climate. Not one external person started of the 41 ground course.
Anybody coming here needs their head read.

It's Offical, the next ground course for the 31's is on the 6 Dec.

Goodluck with the calls everyone.

Split flap - The fact they fly already means they've got at least 1 screw loose. :}

With regard to the calls going out, get Caller ID. That way when the phone rings, you can see if it has a Koru on the number. If not, don't answer the phone.

Gayouth- That would have to rate as probably the funniest rumour i've heard in the many anti-origin rumour mill.

flying ginge

is it GAY-outh or GA-youth? Anyway ZK-NSN that rumour the gay one mooted was spot on. Whether or not anybody from Air Nat takes up the offer is yet to be seen.

If they cant afford type ratings then why/how are there 2 f/o's doing J41 ratings at the moment? Makes sense to employ people already rated and with type experience, the bonus is obvious but i doubt it comes down to the lack of cash.
