Rumours have it that CSA(Czechoslovak Air)made the decision to replace its 737 fleet. The decision was made in favour of A320s,and possibly later A330s...official announcement to be made soon!

Seems to be a bad day for Boeing....and perhaps also a bad one for airbus....

cheers

Just by the way, the name has been Czech Airlines since the split between the Czechs and the Slovaks after the Soviet Union went down the tubes. The CSA initials still remain the same, though. Nice airline to fly.

Several years ago flying from Amsterdam to Prague, the Czech capital was fogged in and Brno was the alternate, also fogged in. The pilot set the old TU-134 down perfectly. I could only see the white lines after the wheels touched.

Keep up the good work, whether it be a Boeing or an Airbus you're driving.

:ok:

Why a bad day for airbus?

I suspect the move to the Airbus may be political (EU and all that) as the Boeing fleet is probably (almost certainly) economically viable enough to negate the move on fleet cost grounds.
