Merlins at BFS

Folks,

Seen two RN Merlins at Aldergrove today. Departed with underslung cargo.

Very impressive machines, seemed very stable in flight.

Does anyone know why they were visiting? Was wondering if it was anything to do with the Canadian submarine rescue effort of the coast?
