CD writer will only write files not folders. to

What else can I say, the wifes desk top has suddenly decided to stop copying the contents of My Pictures saying there is a fault on the disk. Changed disk, same problem. CD-RW 703mb free, contents 550mb. Tried Nero 5.5.10-35 with same result.

Copied separate pictures without problem, and a few files from other folders but not to the same size as the my pictures folders.

System XP Home, SP2, all updates complete. 1.6AMD Athlon/768mb DDR RAM/80Gb hard drive.

Recent changes include adding SP2 and adding a WiFicard that would seem to have wiped evidence of the LAN cards in device manager. (Treating that as a separate problem)

Thoughts please?

Try creating a new folder and copy all the pictures there, then try burning the new folder and see if you get the same error or not.

Thanks Richard, I managed to track down two individual .jpg's that had become corrupt and woudn't display or copy to anything.

Deleting those solved the problem.
