Sorry to inform everyone that Harold Eighme passed away Sunday Sept 26th in Santa Rosa CA, at age 80.
Harold's A&P career spanned over 60 years! He was a pioneer in the early helicopter days, maintaining Bell 47's in Alaska/Greenland & Papua New Guinea, out in the field for months on end. He had worked for several companies, including AF Helicopters, World Wide, RotorAids, Evergreen and finally Aris Helicopters San Jose CA.
Always accompanied by his wife of 60 years, Mary, and of course the '63 Corvette went everywhere also. A true gentleman, he and Mary made a great team, and I am sure they have enriched countless lives over the years, with their genuine ability to befriend everybody they meet.
If you wish to contact Mary, please do so through
