Sad news after they had just undergone restructuring a few months back...
Laker Airways Ltd. has suspended all flights, including its vacation packages from Rickenbacker International Airport to the Bahamas.
The Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.-based airline said Thursday the suspension will last as long as 60 days. Hurricanes Frances and Jeane caused damage to Laker's bases in the Bahamas, and it said it is suffering from "circumstances created by a third party."
