With the reduction in their Boeing fleet, rumour was that MYT was giving a lot more charter work out to 3rd parties. Is this true? and if so who will be operating some of their programme at MAN if it is not kept in-house?

The latest rumours are that myt are to keep 3 or 4 757's for two more years as the company that are purchasing the aircraft for freighter conversion cannot get it done until that time, although this will still see the loss of 3 airbus'.

With the reduction in capacity anyway there is a good chance that a lot of additional subs will not be required.

However, the sole Dc10 & the 3 B767-300's are due to be retired.

Recently noted an Eagle Aviation A320 operating for MYT on a couple of occasions aswell as a Blueline MD83. Presumably, with the loss of the Dc10 which was commonly used as a back-up aircraft, there wil be more short term subcharters when things go wrong!

Yeah and by the looks of it there may be a spare Jet2 737 sitting around at MAN that they could use!;)

Does anyone know if they will continue their flights to Canada next year or will it all be Thomas Cook?

Don't know about MYT, but TCX have signed the contract with Canadian Affair for next summer, w.r.t their 757's there will be 3 on the contract instead of 2, with the extra flights mostly from MAN.
