"N" reg flying

A question to save me trawling through the regs

recently helped a ppl with a FAA licence to get permission to fly a "G" reg A/C in the U.K.

Wondered if a JAR licence holder can fly a "N" reg in the U.K.

Anybody any experience with this

Yup, for a PPL no problem. Lic is issued "grata"( for ICAO country), some paperwork to fill out, background, lic verfication. CPL whole different kettle of fish, must meet all req, pass written, pass flight test.

Contact Flight Standards District Office near aera you wish to operate they should be able to help.

Yes. An FAA PPL can fly a G reg aircraft in the UK.
