A friend of mine (RAAF officer) is trying to regain contact with an old colleague. We believe he is currently a 777 captain with Emirates. If GL (ex RAAF pilot, flew with DS at 36 SQN) reads this, can you please send me a pm.

GL is still with Emirates, now flying A330's.
