Quick question for all Cathay pilots. I'm about to start at Cathay and also thinking about buying an Apple.

Just want to check if this program (IntraCX) would work with the Mac OS.

I'm guessing IntraCX is where we check out schedule?

Thanks in advance.

Just can't resist -- whatever happens with CX, make sure you buy the Apple! OS-X 10.3 is way ahead of windows in features and functionality, and it sits on top of a rock solid BSD Unix core.

Bought an apple last year, won't go back!

Slightly off thread but related.

Does anyone out there in PPRuNe land know whether any of the flight planner programs will work through a Mac (OS 10.3) using the Virtual PC software?

Currently Running Flightstar and Command Flight Planner. A little slow but works fine. Vitual PC 7 out 28/10/04. The boffins say it will be about 30% quicker.

Mac works fine with IntraCX, you just need to use Internet Explorer as the browser for this site or you lose some of the options.

Just to clarify...Are you all using intraCX via Virtual PC ? or does the CX software run natively in OSX ?

IE on OSX 10.3 works fine. No Virtual PC required.
