SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- Shares of US Airways plunged about 43 percent in midmorning trades Monday, turning the nation's seventh-largest carrier into a penny stock after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy again.....
US Airways aims to remake itself into a JetBlue, the upstart low-fare airline, and an America West, the hybrid low-cost carrier. It wants to use its fleet of regional jets to reach smaller markets in the eastern U.S., as well as Latin American and Caribbean destinations....
