The guy's that have got interviews, what kind of experience do you all have, if you don't mind me asking?

I have about 6500 hours of which 3300 hours are on jet A/C,
type rated on A320/A340, which have lapsed...current on 737-700.

Thanks guys all the best to those that are beeing interviewed.

Don't worry, that's the way it is. I know now quite a few of those invited for the next round personally (and through pprune), everyone without rating, everyone with a some jet experience. You may be overqualified (for this round). I also have the rating, not the experience you have, and haven't been invited. The type rated guys went through the last few courses. I guess that Gulf wants to have everyone a new type rating for commonality and selection, that's why they do not bother about ratings.
But with your experience you should not have any problems elsewhere, and Gulf is really not the only choice in the region (and not necessarily the best one).

Keep the spirits up, your time will come.

Apply Chap, you might hate it, you might love it. You got the opportunity, so go for it. Been here 5 years and it's great for me.
