Could anyone help me out with some info on the Western Australia Police Helicopter based at Jandakot.

With the CHC 412 in the area, does the police aircraft do much SAR/EMS anymore? Has the Candian presence reduced the hours flown by the police BK by an appreciable amount? Did the rumour of an upgrade to an EC135 ever have any truth behind it?

And, most importantly, is it a good unit to work for?

Any and all info is much appreciated.

With a name like "Bomber" I would have thought you already knew the answer;) Unless I've got the wrong guy.

Sorry YPJT,

I'm only a "Bomber" on PPRuNe, not in my "real" life. My only visit to YPJT was a brief stop, many moons ago, to pick up books for my ATPL/IREX :\
