Florida and southern California are the best places for flight instructing. Lots of schools to choose from and good weather year-round so lots of flying done. Do a search on the net for flight schools at these two states. Good luck.

Take a look at www.aviationpilots.com
You will be able to find most of the schools in the states there Easy. By just typing the state you are going to.
Lots of schools to choose from.

Thanks - anyone know what the fee is for flight tests overthere? Can I do a flight to cover all tests i will need? Are flight tests usually single or twin?

kiakaha If youre willing to move to the Northwest, Aurora Aviation (http://www.auroraaviation.com) located on Aurora airport near Portland (PDX) in Oregon then they will most likely take you on as an instructor. Its a great part of the country, summer is great for ab-initio, and if youre qualified then the other 9 months when the weather is IMC usually bring a lot of Instrument students. PM me if youre interested, I can send you contact details as I know the owner, and i know most of the instructors quite well.

I can also send you contact details on a FAA testing officer that they use, Terry Mustain, very thorough and fair. You will always come out of it feeling as though you have learnt something.
