I see the vendor also has a mobile phone for sale.

I can only guess which one is the better offer..... :p

Interesting to note that the item for sale is described as "over pruned" ....... too much time on a certain website? :p

Yes, top chap. Well done - and I hope that some journo spots it!

When I was a cadet at RAFC Cranwell, a fellow cadet managed to put an advert in The Times on April 1 1969 advertising a charming pseudo-Georgian mansion with own stables, extensive grounds and two aerodromes for sale, no reasonable offer refused. It got him a few days Strikers, but made the national press!

Don't worry, we can always count on our French brothers to protect us while our US bosses sail across the pond to rescue us..........
After all, if the government save all that money they can repair the roads, make tax cuts, stop anti social behaviour and generally improve the country before someone invades it !!

And if the French should fail, the Luftwaffe surely will help you.:E :E

Still at a fiver though...won't anyone up it? Heres the opportunity to put in place all those cost-saving ideas!

I think chief-of_the_air_staff could stretch a bid further as highest bidder :p

Don't buy it. There's no chance of it being delivered on time and at the price originally agreed! :p

If we can bump the bidding high enough, we could get one of these with the money:

On the other hand we could put the defence of the UK out to tender and hope someplace like India would take it up, contactable through a call centre of course. Press 1 for air attack, 2 for .........

If it is not to be taken seriously, watch the MoD shell out billions!

Perhaps the money is needed to finance the transport and feeding of the Nigerian troops that your Mr Straw has offered to the Sudanese to settle Darfur. Would have thought they could afford to run their own troops to Darfur, very generous offer from Mr Straw in the circumstances.
