After having flown for 3 different airlines and having done 3 initial training courses, i would like to join again the rank of any airline.
As I dont like to go over a 5 weeks training course again: do you know any airline that does short cabin crew training courses for already experienced flight attendants?

Just wanted to say, TOM (Thomsonfly) training course is for 14 days, but is very intense!! Long days and lots of exams obviously!

Just wanted to add that TOM is a nice airline to work for the crew and ground staff are all really friendly!!

Hiya everyone

Yeah I fly 4 TOM too, have to say its a dead friendly bunch both in the air and on the ground. And Ian's lovely to fly with hehe, u owe me that £20 now!! No actually I think he meant me when he said the crew are lovely haha.

Seriously though, 14 days doesnt sound long and i suupose it isnt, yeah it can be intense sometimes, more so if u havent flown before, but dont forget we only have 1 aircraft type at the moment. My last airline we did 3 aircraft (757 + both 767s, which was quite hard cause the 767-200 + 300 are completely different and also we had a couple of odd 757s where the equipment positions would b different!!!) plus all the other bits in 4 weeks so i spose its all relative really.

Yes I think there is a (small) course in sept planned, however I think they already have people on file or whatever for this course, but nows the time to join, what with Doncaster opening up next year! Lots of opportunities!

Easyjet is three and a half weeks. I work there and love it. Three aircraft types though in that time depending on base.

AEU was 4 weeks, BA was 5ish weeks.

MYT was 4.5 weeks, I did 320/321/330.

As you flyers know, the location diagrams are a bugger to learn by heart!

TOM I know sounds short, but as you say it is relative to the a/c.
But then saying that AEU at the time only had 73's, and that was 4 weeks, so I don't know!

I rather suffer for another 6 weeks over diagrams and drills, than stick with an airline I dislike because of the fear to make an effort... just a very honest thought. :=

Is it me being stupid, or did anyone actually understand that last posting? ie.- "......stick with an airline I dislike because of the fear to make an effort... just a very honest thought"....???????
