Will the Air Canada F/Os be demanding commands in AllCanada Express?

Any clues who's DC10s will be used? ACE do not currently operate this type?
There are does generally seem to be a lot of rumoured DC10F routings and start ups due to commence this fall, worldwide.

I don't know where the aircraft are coming from. It will be nice to see this great bird flying with a Canadian company again.

Good for them - it will be nice to see some big stuff around. I am somewhat skeptical that they will be flying in the fall (if they are to be owned by ACE) it will take forever to get the AC certified in this country.

I suppose they could have a 3rd party operate them though.

Can anyone that works for ACE clarify how this is going to work?

From what I hear, its only 1 DC-10 and it will mostly be serving Frankfurt.

Since my last comment, I have heard that World Airways will provide the DC10F.

I heard it was Gemini, and they were doing it on a sub-charter on ACE's behalf until they were up and running with the '10's. Crews are training and there is already one on the OC.

I beleive there may be a regulation in Canada that will only allow a foreign carrier to be contracted for such work as long as there is no acceptable domestic operation that may provide the service. Just something I read in another discussion, but it may be true.
