Has anyone done any flying out of Sri Lanka or anyone been to Sri Lanka that may pass on any thoughts or experiences?

In the old days, early eightys, lots of fun on long layovers. Cheap to live, the airline called Airlanka pay was awful, 2700 per month-TriStar Capt No Pressure job, it was nice
