A320 Rating

Could anyone in the know please give me some infomation on where one can obtain a self sponsored A320 Command Rating. Any personal experiences in this area would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Airbus ratings are a good thing. But unless you really know what you want it does not seem advisable to me to do that without a solid employment offer. I have an A320 rating with 200hrs on type, but have relatively big problems to get even a foot into a door.

Dani what is your total time and and total jet time? Dot you have an ATPL? I guess you are/ were flying for SWISS..... At this point many airlines are seeking dozens of A320 pilots and if you had previous jet time i.e. MD80, RJ100 etc u should not have a problem.
