I left the Royal Air Force 20 years ago with a letter to say that I would be entitled to a pension on reaching the age of 60.

I have been unable to find out how much that pension is now worth, or how to go about claiming it.

Can anyone tell me who to contact?

Thanks , but I sent them a letter 3 months ago and had no reply.

Send the next letter by registered post, and follow up with a letter to your MP if nothing heard after 21 days.

It took a few months but I received a letter outlining my pension from Glasgow. They sent some useful booklets to help me decide what I wanted to do with it. They would not speculate on the value of the pension at age 60, but did give me the "current" value. Give them a call at 0141 224 2524 or military 9(4561) 2524.

This info will probably only help if the Pension has already been awarded - but Paymaster might just be able to point you in the right direction.
