After four years graft I've finally got my CPL/IR. I'm sure you can all understand that I'm very eager to start applying for jobs. The thing is I don't have an MCC yet and can't do a course until at least mid September.

So is there any point applying without an MCC, should I wait? Any advice appreciated.

Cheers.

I'd say it depends on the requirements they list in the job adverts.

Next question: what adverts?

Yes-apply apply apply!
Many type ratings can incorporate MCC. There is also a good lead time between inteview and start of type course so plenty of time to have all the boxes ticked. One advanage to haveing MCC in advance is that it may help you in your sim check.

So keep applying, complete MCC in mid September and just update your application.
