I see Air Japan advertising in Oz for what I hear is 40 B767 F/O's (non type rated).

Other positions for ICAO licence holders are: ANA; 45 B737ng's on order, AirDo; 2 B737-400's coming, SkynetAsia; 16 B737-400's/maybe ng's coming, SkyMark; extra B767 and B737ng's coming etc etc.

Still very good money on offer in Japan due to responsible govt allowing only controlled deregulation. Look in the order of US$9000 to US$12000 for the above positions.

Also huge retirement in the Japanese pilot workforce looming.

Any comments?

Thanks for the "heads up".

<<Still very good money on offer in Japan>> - good.

Still a requirement to complete a JCAB licence course and then a type conversion course or has this been dropped?

Great news indeed. I do not find anything on the net. Those Japanese airlines have no recruitment addresses nowhere. Anyone can help?
