Hi
I received an interesting thread from a colleague a few days ago. He has been working here for 12 months now, as ATPL (H)Kpt for a private operator, and called DCA to enquire about getting a full Malaysian licence (ie no more validation) as he liked the country and the job. REPLY: you must have been over 2 years before you will be considered?????????any other countries I have worked in, we can obtain the equivalent local licence after sitting the relevant airlaw exam. Why does DCA think they're better than ICAO countries????
Any reasons you guys can think off?:}

Sorry about the spelling of Citizen eheheh must have had too many Cpt Morgan already....:O
