Hello Girls and boys!
How are you all today?

I would not pay for a full type rating, but I was thinking I could just prepare at home and take the technical written exams for a Short360 or HS748 rating. Any idea on where I could find an FTO that could help me prepare for those written exams? Or, do I need to address a carrier flying the aircraft type?

I don't see the point in paying for expensive sim sessions if there is no garanteed jobs behind meaning I would not have been trained according the airline's operating procedures! Any comments?

Thanks for your time and info!
Best winds, Okea:) !

It was possible in the pre-JAR world to take at the CAA what was, then, called an ARB exam on a chosen aircraft type. It's no longer the case as far as I know.
