"FLIGHT" Daily News dated Wednesday 21st July 2004 from Farnborough shows a huge one page spread with a FlyBe Dash 8 Q400.
It states "Low-cost carrier flybe knows how much the Q400 can do for their bottom line. They signed a repeat order for 17 more aircraft plus 20 options"

...funny that, cos thats what the pilots assumed the announcement was going to be...yet the Flight Ops Director was going around telling pilots that the company were making an announcement regarding airbus.
Perhaps his barclaycard wouldnt streatch to the deopsit on the day...or...?

Easy Jets A319s were a "better deal" than our last batch of Q400s allegedly.
