RFDS Western Operations Recruitment Process

Hi All

Just wondering if any applicants who had telephone interviews last week for the above position has heard back yet as to whether or not you have progressed to the next stage of the process.

Also just wondering how long your phone interview lasted and the type of questions that were asked?

Beerlover,

If they like you, you could expect them to fly you to PH and put you up in a hotel. Have a face to face panel interview, talking about yourself, living in remote areas, remote area flying day/night, the RFDS history and today, AIP/CAO/CAR & IFR stuff, the fleet, bases, teamwork, and communication skills.

Panel would consist of maybe the CP and the deputy, HR, maybe nursing, and another manager.

If you get past that, a check ride in a king air, instrument approach, limited panel, U/A's, general handling, GAAP and CTA stuff, they want to see your general flying skills, might also do some work in an ELITE sim.
