Narrative:
Aerocaliforna flight 706 was the evening flight from Mexico City to Durango and Torreón. About half an hour late, the flight was cleared to takeoff from runway 05L. Immediately after rotation the flight encountered windshear forcing the airplane into the ground with a subsequent loss of control. All three landing gears collapsed and the right wing was destroyed.

Yes, CaptW5, it is. . . I didn't see that post, thanks for citing it. Interesting that the preliminary report cites windshear whilst initial discussion focused on hydroplaning and the puddling of rain on the runways of MMMX or any other general deficiencies at that airport. Seems like there are groups out there more than eager to take a stab whenever the opportunity presents itself.
