Turkish doesn't operate any Fokkers, and the only airline I know of that flies/flew F100s into IST is Germania.

ISTANBUL (A.A) - 25.07.2004 - A passenger plane of private Inter Airlines on a flight from Dusseldorf, Germany, to Istanbul skidded off the runway early Wednesday after landing at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, officials said.

No one was injured in the accident.

Sources told the A.A correspondent that the plane carrying 102 passengers and six crew members, landed at Istanbul's Ataturk airport at 0.30 a.m.

The plane's left side wheel system broke after touching down, causing the plane to turn to the left and skid off the runway, sources said.

The plane was slightly damaged.

While some passengers got off the plane on their own, the remaining was evacuated through emergency exits.

Efforts are under way to pull the plane to apron.

He surely did say "a Turkish".... just not sure if he meant "a Turkish" or "a Turkish", though :O

Ontopic: Just another one in a long history of MLG failures on the F100

If he said "Turkish" He surely meant the nationality of the airline. If he however had said "Turkish Airlines" He must have meant Turk Hava Yollari... Just a little funny thing about English language.

Aircraft in the picture looks very Turkish (As in from Turkey) in the picture.
