Joining the list for defunct Mexican airlines is Allegro. No obituaries, even ATW and FI are silent. I feel sorry for the now jobless crews ... :uhoh:

Weren't they shut down a long time ago? I know they've been barred from flying to the US for sometime, which was most, if not all, of their revenue flying.

I heard Allegro suspended flying into the US, because they stopped paying their lessor Pegasus.

Just rumors ...

That was a long time ago, at least a year. But, yes, they did stop paying Pegasus, amongst others, and subsequently halted US charter operations.

Flew through MMMX earlier this week (on Tuesday) and saw some of the Allegro planes parked-- asked myself if they were still operating. Sorry to hear this happen to yet another employee group. :(
