Can't access R&N?

Hi guys hope you can help me with this problem.
When I log in the normal way I am denied access to R&N, Tech log.
In fact the whole first section. If I log out I can then view this section but cannot post because I'm classed as a guest.
Had a word with admin they reckon my rego & everythings o.k. at their end, must be something to do with cookies!
I am using spy bot, zone alarm & adware on a win2k pro set up..
Can anybody out there help me?

In Internet Options:


Delete Cookies
Delete Files
Clear History


Then go to the Privacy Tab:

Click on Edit and allow www.pprune.org

For testing purposes, make a new account on PPRuNe and see if you can access the forum. (That way we will know if the problem is IE or PPRuNe related.)

Richard already tried that, but wouldn't allow me because of the unique email address rule..

Richard opened new account with yahoo email address.
Everything works o.k. Access to R&N no problem!
What does this mean?

I have one more quick test for you. Then I think I can tell you what it means. I want you to go to another computer, use a friends if you do not have one, log into PPRuNe with your original account and try to log into that forum.

Then we will know if the problem is within your computer or on PPRuNe itself. ;)

Hi Richard yeah used a different pc - logged on as nooluv- same result access denied to R&N! Will have to get back on the email to
the mods as the problem must be at the pprune end...

I am positive we have narrowed the problem to PPRuNe itself. Link this thread in your email for Danny and company to read.

I am sure they will correct the problem for you.
