Hey Guys,

Not of great importance, but I was interested in finding out who operated flight PP002 out of Melbourne tonight (19/7) to Hong Kong. Was scheduled to leave at 1900, but got away early at 1822.

Any ideas on who operated this flight and what aircraft they were using?

Cheers,

Soulman

Not much help Soulman.

No PP002 arrival Pax or Freighter on the CLK web site.
I did notice PP001 arrived from CHC @ 1744 into MEL though.

At a guess it might have been a private (pocket rocket) flight that transited MEL only. A 75 min turnround is not enough for a large freighter (747 or MD11)

cheers

We had a 'PP' in at YMML the other week, turned out to be a European Biz-jet operator. Sorry can't remember which one. Probably explains why it got away 40mins early, big wigs wanted to go home early!

Thanks for the help guys.

I noticed the flight on the Melbourne Airport Website (http://www.melbourneairport.com.au) under the international departures. It didn't have a logo and since I'd never seen a 'PP' flight - I wondered what it was.

Probably a G-V or BD-700 or something. Hope it wasn't a Citation X, coz I'd hate to think I missed it!

DiscoStu - pardon the ignorance, but what's the CLK website you are talking about?

Must get down to MEL soon and check out that huge EK A340-500 that comes in 3 times a week - anybody out there seen it? Must be awesome.

Cheers,

Soulman.
