- Operating on test, not for operational use (For the next little while) :E
- Couple of small map issues need looking at (Will be fixed before long)

:ok:

P.S To the crew of JST106 LT-ML this morning

- Nice Pax brief :cool:
- Nice description of the reason for vectors and speed into ML :ok:

Who hand flew the approach into ML though:E ........:ooh: .....:D

Nah......Just kiddin.......;) .....Was all good!:ok:

Whats with the sad question marks????

Give me a hint

- TSAD installed?
- Not commisioned yet?
- What it cost?

OR,

- I flew JST?
- The pax brief? (Humourous, professional and informative)
- The explaination for delay vectoring and speed reduction? (The Skipper did not resort to the often used short and sharp 'ATC have slowed us down FULL STOP' negativity when explaining the scenic over the Gippsland and speed reduction)
- The approach into ML? (Very smooth profile all the way until the turn onto final into wind needing some pitch and power massaging. Touchdown was firm but well executed given the conditions)

OR, have I missed something?:E

Scurvey, I doubt you've missed anything........

But I sure have! :}

Then again, it's beer o'clock and at this hour I'm not into deep and meaningful thingies! :ok:

Not much for the installation, not sure exactly though;)

For the hardware, not much (OTS Screen and CPU + Switch on)

For the software fix after the update problems, you probably know better than I:E . I do not include that in the cost as it was one of those unforseen thingys that affected the whole system.

Overall, the TSAD cost is minimal compared to the hole in the system left by tower class E that the tower could not see, and what may result from that.
I know this is a large issue at other locations, and the efficacy of the decision to place radar at LT aside, to have coverage that cannot be monitored by the responsible tower would be ridiculous:eek:

I am sure the sector drivers are not particularly comfortable with the additional surveillance responsibility of airspace that is not theirs. :ok:

Did someone say 'Merlot O Clock' :\

Bye now:}
