Well, it could be.....
Those of you who know me will understand why I'm posting this.
I've been watching the view hits on Irv's posting regarding the JAA/EASA's (EASA Flight Dispatchers) request for comments on the future of flight ops and flight dispatcher training and licensing in Europe, only 240 views versus 1200 on some of the other threads.
Please, if you haven't read Irv's posting on this please do, its about your future. Discuss it with your colleauges and ops managers and if you can forward your comments to the JAA/EASA.
The more support for a license or at least a minimum training standard and accreditdation the more likely it is to happen. ICAO recommends it so there is, in my view a reasonable chance of the replacement for the JAA accepting it this time.
